How does Squisito work?
The "Squisito" platform has been created to give its customers the possibility to buy the finest selection of Italian food & wines. Squisito wants to create strong links between its customers and small Italian producers and your shopping helps sustainable producers to grow their businesses.
How can I make an order, pay, and understand information about the shipping?
The customers browse the shop of Squisito website to find a deal. If interested to buy products, they just need to add the desired quantity to the cart and complete the order with the payment process. Before placing an order, we ask and suggest them to check the products they are buying are compatible with allergies or intolerances of the final consumer. Customers are also able to check the shipping prices (that are based on the cart's product weight) directly on the cart
How can I know when my order is considered confirmed?
The order will be considered successfully closed with the payment and the company will ship to the customers' address the products included into the cart. The customer will receive a notification email confirming the order, the products shipped and the courier tracking data.
Can I place a customized order for my business, family or friends group?
For customers who wish to place an order for quantities equal or greater than those available and shown on the e-shop, please contact the customer service at email@example.com
These orders could be subject to additional discounts.
How do you secure ordering? Are payment providers safe?
The Squisito cart works with technologies for safe and secure transactions. The Squisito website accepts debit cards and all credit card providers, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Apple Pay.
If you are nervous about shopping on the web, don't be. We use secure servers with state-of-the-art encryption and secure sockets layer (SSL) technology for the transfer of credit card information.
Which are the delivery rates? Are these shown in the cart and calculated on the weight of products and customer location?
Yes the shipping price is calculated on the weight (for example 24 euro up to 30 kilos). The shipping of the products you buy with Squisito are tracked and provided by international express couriers, generally the delivery at your address could be in about 7-10 working days from the order confirmation.
How does it work with order cancellations, returns & refunds?
Customer may cancel an order for any reason whatsoever within 14 days from the date they received the products, provided that all of the products are unopened and intact. To cancel an order the customer must call or email Squisito to notify the cancellation request. Within 10 days from the cancellation request the customer must ship the products to the Squisito warehouse. The shipping of the products from the customer to the warehouse will be at customer's expenses.We will reimburse the price of the products once it has been collected, returned to our warehouse and has been inspected and checked all of the products are unopened and intact. For missing or damaged products due to reasons not controlled by Squisito, the Company will provide a voucher for the amount of the value of the products damaged or lost, to be used for future purchases in Squisito shop within 12 month.
I am worried about pollution and sustainability? How do you tackle the issue?
If you are all in with sustainability, we are with you. For example, in a bid to offset the CO2, Squisito partnered with mates at Tree-Nation to support their forestry efforts.
With the cart the customer helps sustainable producers to grow their business supporting Squisito's forest: We plant a tree every 50euro spent by our customers. We do this to offset the CO2 emissions produced by our company, our suppliers production and last but not least the shipping.
